Travel speeds of e.g. 6 km/h to 15 km/h and application rates of e.g. 8 cbm - 40 cbm have an extreme influence on the quantities of liquid that flow through the distributor head per minute. The flow rate must be adjusted so that lateral distribution and power requirements are at an optimum.

With the VARIOMAX, this adjustment can be carried out quickly from outside the distribution head. By shortening the turnbuckles, the cross-sections of the outlet holes can be reduced, as shown above. Lengthening them makes them larger again. A display helps to set the desired value.

The left and right sides can be set separately so that, for example, different quantities per fertilizer band can be achieved with the CULEX Strip Till device. If a setting of 75% of the slurry in the upper band and 25% of the slurry in the lower band is desired, this would be possible.
