The red line marks the center of gravity/balance point of the compact disc harrow. This means that the machine can be lifted in a balanced manner with a crane at this point. The further the center of gravity is from the pivot point, the more counterweight is required. This results in a negative support load.
Operation
Operation should work in combination with the lifting gear if possible. This is usually realized by a headland management of the tractor, the self-propelled sprayer or slurry tanker.
Single-acting
The linkage is lifted = The oil line of the Power-Lift axle is switched to float position, the axle lifts the machine under its own power. The floating position remains switched on during the entire use The lifting gear is lowered = the oil line is pressurized with oil for 6-8 seconds, the axle is lifted and then the oil line is shut off by the control unit of the towing vehicle (closed middle position)
Double-acting
A valve combination is installed that generates the floating position and the closed center position.
